There is just something about the summer wedding season that brings me so much joy. I love the endless sunshine, days that stretch on, and the vibrant florals seen both in nature and the stunning wedding bouquets of my brides. Stephanie and Ryan’s Summer Wedding in Concord, New Hampshire at the beautiful Barn on Bull Meadow was perfect in every way. Their bold and vibrant blue and yellow wedding colors looked stunning. The bouquets featured mostly yellow and white flowers with slight pops of blue, all of which complemented the overall style of the wedding and the bridesmaids’ blue dresses. Even the flower girls had a touch of yellow on their dresses tying it all together!
One thing that stood out about their wedding was all the personal touches and details woven in throughout their day to make it their own. They wanted a wedding that represented them and told their story. Stephanie and Ryan got engaged at the happiest place on Earth – yes, I mean Disney! They found fun ways to incorporate Disney themed details to point back to this part of their love story, and represent Stephanie’s love of all things Disney. To the Mickey Mouse bridal pin to Ryan’s happily ever after Mickey ears, each detail was thoughtfully chosen.
Summer Wedding in Concord, New Hampshire
Once ready, Stephanie and Ryan shared a first look in front of the barn followed by some private vows, which brought laughter and tears. It was such a sweet and tender moment! Afterwards, the couple refreshed themselves for their outdoor wedding ceremony. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky as Stephanie made her way down the aisle. During the ceremony the couple did a glass pouring tradition where they combined different colored glass into one container to have it blown into a one-of-a-kind piece of art that will be a treasured keepsake from this special day. I thought this idea was so cool and unique! After saying, “I do!”, the couple exited the ceremony to a flurry of bubbles.
The newlyweds and their guests made their way into the barn for the reception where everything was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, Stephanie’s Maid of Honor couldn’t attend due to COVID; however, she was still present in spirit as they had the DJ play her pre-recorded speech! After all the toasts and first dances, Stephanie, Ryan, and I headed back outside to enjoy the setting sun and capture the most gorgeous newlywed portraits.
Stephanie and Ryan, photographing your summer wedding day was such an honor! I loved spending the day with you, capturing your wedding day memories, and celebrating your love! Cheers to you both!
