I officially kicked off my wedding season this past weekend with the most amazing wedding and couple, Madison and Adam! I seriously can’t imagine a better couple to start off my busy wedding season. These two are the sweetest couple and so much fun to be around. Their spring wedding day took place at one of my favorite wedding venues, The Barn on Bull Meadow in Concord, NH. Needless to say, it was a dream day all around!
The bridal party readied in matching striped pajamas, sharing many laughs throughout the morning. Madison incorporated so many thoughtful details into her day, one of them being the diamond necklace she wore that was her grandmother’s.
Then there were the sweet first looks that she shared with her father and brother. Included in that first look was a cardboard cutout of her younger brother who couldn’t attend the wedding due to deployment. We made sure to include the cutout of him in shots throughout the wedding, as he was very much present even though he couldn’t physically be there! Madison and Adam also had tributes to their dog, Miller, who couldn’t attend the wedding. I love capturing these little unique touches as they are what make a wedding so special and memorable!
After Madison and Adam shared their first look, we took some time to capture couples portraits before meeting up with the rest of their loved ones for some formal photos. Madison chose an extra long veil so that we could create some magical veil shots, what a dream!

After sharing private moment for their own first look, Madison and Adam joined their wedding party for a fun photos. They had the best energy and were such a fun group to work with. Their close friend, Luke, was the officiant at their outdoor wedding ceremony and his speech, as well as all the pre-dinner toasts made by the rest of the family, brought both laughter and tears to everyone. I felt genuinely lucky to bear witness to all of the love in the room. Watching their wedding day unfold brought me so much joy!
Right before dinner, the newlyweds and I snuck out to enjoy the sunset and capture their gorgeous newlywed portraits against the backdrop of the setting sun. It was a perfect way to wrap up their day before they made their way back inside to celebrate with their loved ones. If my first wedding of the season was this amazing, I can’t wait for all of the upcoming weddings in my calendar!
Madison and Adam, THANK YOU for allowing me to capture you beautiful wedding day. It was such an honor to be present and witness your beautiful love story. Congratulations to you both!!
