Preparing Your Spokesmodel Team Application: 5 Questions to include

01. What high school do you go to?

If you are wondering, “why does this matter?” Let me explain! You don’t want more than 1 senior per school because you want to ensure that you’re getting the most reach, i.e. different schools means more locations/areas where your name is spread! If you choose seniors from the same school, you will have less referrals. Also, you don’t want any prior history (aka bad blood) between members of the team.

02. What extracurriculars are you involved in?

This is important information, because you WANT seniors who are involved inside & outside of their school for maximum reach! Their extracurricular involvement can also be an indicator of their team involvement. Seniors who like to be involved in clubs & sports will likely be most involved and invested in the team!

03. How would you describe your style of clothing/fashion?

Answers to this question will give you insight on whether they dress or present themselves in a way that aligns with your ideal client and personal brand. Do you prefer sporty seniors, fashion forward seniors, or girls who love to wear flowy dresses & southern inspired outfits? You want team members who will reflect your ideal client, which will then ATTRACT your ideal client!

04. Why do you want to be a part of the team?

Personally, I like when seniors want to be a part of the team because they want to make new friends, be a part of a fun group, gain confidence, and try something new to break out of their comfort zone, rather than just seeking an opportunity for modeling and getting new photos.  The seniors who will be the biggest asset to your team are those who genuinely want to be there and be a part of something! The photos will just be a bonus!

05. Are you okay with posting frequently on social media?

This is CRITICAL! As a spokesmodel, they’re basically your mini marketing team. Therefore, they must be comfortable with frequently posting to social platforms. Members of my team need to post at least once per month. I don’t want to have to constantly remind them, or it to be a struggle to get them to post, so this is a great pre-screening question!

I hope these 5 questions to include on your Spokesmodel Team Application help you find the best members for your team! If you would like to find out more about preparing your team application, you can watch my YouTube video here, where I go into more detail about what to include and why!
