My experience as both a senior & wedding photographer over the past several years has given me a unique viewpoint on the industry. While some photographers focus on one genre or another, I strongly believe that these two types of photography mesh beautifully with one another, creating an extremely successful and fulfilling business.
By mixing the two, I am able to photograph seniors on the weekdays, and weddings on the weekends. I can take on less weddings each year as my senior income fills the gap, and I never have had to work a double or triple header weekend. I always have one weekend off per month AND still make the revenue I need to support myself & my business. I’m able to work with people who are excited about life and the season they’re in. Since I am constantly capturing something different, I never get bored.
