Alyssa + Seth’s Mount Sunapee Resort Wedding in the beautiful mountains of New Hampshire was filled with last minute surprises, stunning beauty, and endless joy. The universe threw a few curve balls at them in the days leading up, but nothing could stop them from having the wedding day of their dreams and finally tying the knot.
New Hampshire Mount Sunapee Resort Wedding
Their beautiful fall wedding day began as Alyssa got ready at the Mount Sunapee Resort. Alyssa and her mom shared a few special moments together as she helped her into her beautiful wedding gown. After getting ready, Alyssa met her dad outside for a first look. The golden leaves in the background were amazing, however, it was just the beginning of nature’s fall beauty at the resort. The ski lift up the summit of the mountain for the wedding ceremony provided a one of a kind view of the utterly breathtaking scenery of the region. It was absolutely magical!
An Intimate Wedding Ceremony
There at the ceremony, Alyssa and Seth had set out blankets for their guests to wrap themselves in as they watched the couple say “I Do” under a beautifully decorated hexagonal arch. During their wedding ceremony, a cloud rolled in on the mountain top, creating a thick fog around the ceremony. While it did impede the view the couple was hoping for, the thick fog did look wicked cool! It added a unique element to their photos and gave their ceremony a more intimate feel.
Seth teared up at the sight of Alyssa walking down the aisle. I will never grow tired of witnessing grooms’ reactions to seeing their future wife for the first time! They shared personal vows before exchanging rings and making it official with a kiss! After their intimate wedding ceremony, I captured a few portraits of the newlyweds on top of the summit before the cold forced us to take the lift down. As we descended from the summit, I captured a few of my favorite images from their Mount Sunapee Resort wedding day!
Mount Sunapee Resort Wedding Reception
One of my favorite moments from Alyssa and Seth’s wedding was their entrance to their wedding reception. A few weeks before their wedding, they found out the exciting news that they were expecting a baby! They took the opportunity to announce this joyous news to their family and friends as they entered their reception. The overflow of love, support, and utter happiness was evident amongst the guests in attendance. After sharing their incredible news, Alyssa and Seth shared an emotional first dance as husband and wife.
Then the Maid of Honor and Best Man gave heartfelt toasts, after which Seth danced with his mom and Alyssa had a dance with both of her parents. Then, they opened up the dance floor and everyone celebrated the night away! It was such an honor to capture Alyssa and Seth’s lovely wedding day. They overcame several obstacles to get to their wedding day and were able to celebrate not only this new chapter as husband and wife, but the news of their growing family. I can’t think of anything more special than that. Congratulations, Alyssa and Seth! I am so incredibly happy for the two of you!
