Eva and Nate started off their gorgeous MA fall wedding with a first look! They both teared up upon seeing each other under the canopy of trees colored with warm autumn tones from the changing leaves. After this tender moment, we spent some time exploring the property of the Warren Conference Center & Inn in search of the perfect spots for bride and groom portraits. Located in Ashland, MA, The Warren Conference Center has over 100 beautiful acres sitting on the lakefront of the Ashland Reservoir. Needless to say, we didn’t have to travel far to find stunning scenery for a backdrop to their photos!
MA Fall Wedding
The fall foliage seen everywhere was absolutely perfect! Being that their wedding was so late in October, I was surprised at all the leaves that were still hanging on the trees, showing off their vibrant colors. The weather was perfect the day of Eva and Nate’s fall wedding. The sky was clear blue and the sunlight was shining brightly. As I captured their portraits underneath the tall trees, beams of sunlight were streaming in through the gaps of the branches creating a romantic, magical glow.
Eva and Nate’s bride and groom portraits were a breeze because they are so natural with each other! As Eva’s best friend said during her toast, they are like yin and yang. They both radiate joy and love when they’re together. You can see they’re meant for each other! Towards the end of their portraits we hopped on a golf cart and drove down to the reservoir on the property. It was so peaceful and serene.
After we finished their portraits, we headed back to take photos with the whole bridal party. Eva’s bridesmaids wore lovely, long, deep red dresses that popped beautifully against the fall colors and were accented further by their fall themed bouquets! The groomsmen were also full of energy and we grabbed some wonderful photos with everyone! We even snuck in some family formals before the ceremony so that Eva and Nate could enjoy their cocktail hour after the ceremony.
Wedding Ceremony + Reception
Eva and Nate’s special day was filled with family heirlooms and sentimental details. Eva’s father’s cufflinks were carefully inserted around her bouquet, and her grandmother’s bible was used during the ceremony. Each of these details were beautifully and thoughtfully woven into their wedding.
Their Jewish wedding ceremony took place under a chuppah and was filled with lots of traditions, each explained wonderfully by the rabbi. After Nate stomped on the glass and sealed his marriage to Eva with a kiss, the real party began! They were formally introduced as husband and wife and shared their first dance. Heartfelt toasts were made by Nate’s brother and Eva’s best friend, as well as both of their parents. After cutting their cake, Nate shared a dance with his mom, and then the dance floor opened with the traditional hora where the bride and groom are raised high on chairs holding a handkerchief between them to signify their union. It was amazing to watch!
The dance floor was packed for the rest of the night! It truly was a lively celebration filled overflowing with love and laughter from beginning to end — love between each other and an outpouring of love from their family and friends. I can’t think of two people who are better matched. Congratulations, Eva and Nate! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your magical day!
