I am thrilled to share today’s post with everyone! This amazing couple, Elyse + Matt, finally had their Elegant Steele Hill Resort Wedding in Sanbornton NH last weekend! They were supposed to be married in 2021, but had to postpone their wedding, like so many other couples, due to COVID-19. Their wedding has been a long time coming, but it was worth the wait if you ask me, because it was flawless! Their magical day was brimming with love and happiness. The joy that surrounded the couple on their wedding day was infectious! I loved capturing every moment of their long-awaited elegant wedding day!

Getting Ready

To start the day off, Elyse got ready with her bridesmaids in a suite at the venue! They celebrated with mimosas in their matching PJ’s. Incorporating a celebratory moment, whether with a pop of champagne or confetti poppers is a wonderful way to grab fun and memorable pictures with your bridesmaids on your wedding day! Matt got ready with his groomsmen downstairs, who were a rowdy, fun group that kept us laughing the entire time! Before heading to the ceremony, I captured photos of the bride and her bridesmaids out on the grounds of the property! I loved the bridesmaids blush pink dresses and their gorgeous white flower bouquets. It was a perfect mixture of a timeless, romantic look.

Steele Hill Resort Wedding Ceremony

Elyse and Matt’s outdoor wedding ceremony at Steele Hill Resort featured breathtaking mountain and lake views. It was the perfect backdrop to the couples’ lovely, heartfelt ceremony! The bride and groom also shared handwritten vows. Elyse’s vows were sweet and sentimental and left very few dry eyes in the audience! Matt on the hand, mixed in a little humor as he referenced the ecosystem growing between his toes! HA!

After their beautiful ceremony, the newlyweds and I ventured around the property to capture their wedding portraits! The lush greenery and golden sun provided the perfect scenery for their vibrant images.

Wedding Reception

After their wedding portraits, the couple headed to their outdoor tented reception. Elyse’s father, the Maid of Honor, and Matt’s brother all gave special toasts before the party began! For Elyse and Matt’s first dance, they wowed everyone with a beautifully choreographed dance filled with twirls and a dip at the end. It was awesome!

After the delicious dinner, I pulled the newlyweds outside for one more intimate photo session out in the glowy light of the setting sun. We ventured to the hill that overlooked the water below and featured epic mountain views in the distance! It was the perfect ending to a perfect wedding day!
