Mountain View Grand Wedding in Whitefield, NH

I had the great pleasure of capturing Liz and Devin’s magical wedding set against the backdrop of the white mountains! Their stunning Mountain View Grand Wedding in Whitefield, NH was filled with so much love, laughter, and memorable moments! This historic New Hampshire resort offers a picturesque setting for a summer wedding! Liz and Devin took advantage of the breathtaking mountain views, the grand hotel exterior, and the garden setting on their dreamy wedding day!

The day started off with Liz and her bridesmaids getting ready in their matching robes! I grabbed pictures of her special bridal details as well. Their blue and gold wedding colors were perfectly intertwined throughout the day. While getting ready, Liz and Devin exchanged gifts. Liz gifted Devin a watch and Liz received a lovely pearl necklace and bracelet from Devin. The pearl necklace and bracelet were the perfect wedding accessories! I photographed Liz’s gifts with their other wedding day details.

First Look

After getting wedding-ready, the couple shared a first look out in front of the hotel! There beautiful mountain views cascaded in the background creating a truly spectacular backdrop! The couple then ventured around the property for more bride and groom portraits. One location they really wanted to include was the wine cellar inside the hotel. It had an intimate, vintage vibe that I loved!

Mountain View Grand Wedding Ceremony

After their first look and portraits, it was time for their ceremony to begin! The outdoor garden ceremony took place behind the hotel with sweeping views of the white mountains in the distance! It was gorgeous! Devin teared up as Liz walked down the aisle toward him. I don’t blame him though, Liz was an absolutely beautiful bride! After their heartfelt ceremony, I captured the couple with their family and then stole them away for some more photos in the sun’s glowly light!

The Reception

Liz and Devin’s wedding reception took place in the Crystal ballroom of Mountain View Grand. With large columns adding architectural design, a grand chandelier, hand painted dome ceiling, and large picture windows surrounding the room, it is a top elegant New England wedding venue.

Liz’s dad, the maid of honor, and Devin’s best men gave funny and heartfelt wedding toasts that had everyone rolling with laughter one minute, and wiping away tears the next. For their first dance, Liz and Devin planned a choreographed first dance to “Missing Piece” by Vance Joy and had their loved ones join in! It was such a fun, memorable moment from their big day! Devin wanted a photo of him and Liz shaking hands in front of their wedding cake before cutting it as a tribute to his favorite show “King of the Hill”! After the cake cutting, Liz changed into her reception dress, which was a shorter style wedding dress. It was perfect for hitting the dance floor, which is where the newlyweds spent the rest of their wedding evening!
