I am thrilled to be sharing this stunning Winter Wedding Styled Shoot that I recently shot at the end of December. This styled shoot was put together with a few of my close vendor friends! While we faced many unexpected hiccups that day, it all ended up coming together beautifully and I LOVE the way it turned out!
Adriane from Anaphora Flowers, and I have worked together in the past. When she contacted me in early December to tell me she would have leftover flowers from an upcoming wedding weekend, we immediately started planning our winter styled shoot around these gorgeous flowers. Adriane is incredibly talented and crafted a lovely bouquet arrangement, a flower crown and a circular arbor. She also hand crafted the most unique and amazing pine skirt! It was magical, and also extremely heavy! The weight from all the materials and the structure of the skirt allowed it to literally stand on its own!
Winter Wedding Styled Shoot
We photographed this styled shoot at a friend’s farm. We found out that they had TWO mini horses on the farm. While that might not sound like a big deal, Adriane and I were so excited! We’ve always talked about how amazing it would be to do a shoot with a horse! Adriane made each horse a garland to wear for the shoot as well!
Our amazing model for this Winter Wedding styled shoot, had her hair and makeup done by the amazingly talented, Kelli from Glowing Moon Beauty at her studio. After that, she met us at the farm to begin shooting. The recent snowfall has transformed the farm into a winter wonderland! The bold red colors of the bouquet and the rich green of the pine popped wonderfully against the snow. The sunlight created a beautiful soft glow, and sparkled magically off the fallen snow! The pictures with the mini horses are some of my favorites. I never knew they had such animated and cute expressions!
We had so much fun finally bringing this shoot to life and checking off a few picture bucket list items! It is always fun to collaborate with other talented creatives. I am so excited to share these images with you! Enjoy!
