This fall has been busy, but so fulfilling! I had the joy of capturing these romantic fall engagement sessions across the beautiful landscapes of New England. I love engagement sessions because it means meeting so many amazing couples who are set to tie the knot next year. Including engagement sessions in all of my wedding packages is very important to me because it gives me the chance to connect with each couple before their big day. It makes everything feel so much more meaningful and relaxed!

This is another benefit to doing an engagement session as for many couples, it is their first time in front of a camera for professional photos. I know that can feel a bit intimidating at first, but the engagement session lets us work through those nerves so that they don’t even exist by the wedding day. I’ve found that by the end of the engagement session, my couples are not only more comfortable with me, but they’re also more confident in front of the camera. This familiarity means they can truly relax on their wedding day, allowing for the most genuine and candid moments to be captured without any hesitation or awkwardness. I love watching couples settle into a rhythm, getting more comfortable and natural with each shot.

One of the things that made this season extra special was the variety of locations. I was lucky enough to shoot in a different spot almost every time, which I love! From the coastal charm of the North Shore in Massachusetts to the sweeping mountain views at the top of Artist’s Bluff in Franconia Notch, we experienced the full range of New England’s fall beauty. Seriously, the views and the colors were just epic! Every couple brought their own personality to the session, and it was amazing to see how each location complemented the couple.

I am so grateful to each and every one of my couples for choosing and trusting me to document their story. Meeting these couples and capturing their love this fall has brought me so much joy and made this autumn unforgettable. Now, with the engagement season wrapped up, I’m counting down the days until I get to see all these amazing couples again on their wedding day next year!
