Rachel and Alec held their wedding at Flag Hill Distillery and Winery. Their wedding colors were blue and gray mixed with vibrant colored florals that complimented their joyful day and fun personalities!
The big day began with Rachel and her bridesmaids getting ready at Flag Hill’s bridal suite. She had her sister help her get into her dress before her first look with her soon to be husband. After their first look, they talked about how all of their nerves melted away after that very moment!
Their ceremony took place overlooking the vines with a decorated floral arbor. Immediately after the recessional, Rachel and Alec took a group photo with all their family and friends. Their idea to get a group photo before everyone departed for the reception is definitely one of my favorite ideas to date!
Once they were announced into the reception, they shared a first dance to Tupelo Honey by Van Morrison, followed by speeches given by Rachel’s dad, sister and Alec’s cousin. Rachel’s cousin even wrote and recited a poem to commemorate the occasion, a tradition that their grandmother used to do.
Before everyone hit the dance floor, and I mean EVERYONE, we snuck Alec and his groomsmen off to the distillery room to take some macho groomsmen photos. This was another request that Rachel and Alec had, and I was here for it! The night ended with a surprise firework show for all of their guests.
Rachel and Alec’s wedding at Flag Hill Distillery and Winery was truly a celebration and a party that no one wanted to end!
