Briana and Patrick finally got to celebrate their marriage with an autumn wedding at the Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland, New Hampshire. Although they already tied the knot back in May by the ocean, they were only able to celebrate with a select few due to the pandemic. With restrictions becoming looser, they finally were able to have the celebration they deserved!
We started off the day at Bri’s mother’s home, where the entire bridal party got ready together. Since Patrick had already seen Bri in her wedding dress, it was not bad luck for them to get ready in the same house! Having everyone together truly made it more fun, and after popping a few bottles of champagne we headed over to the country club!
Bri and Patrick loved their spring ceremony so much that they couldn’t imagine redoing it. Therefore, when we got to the country club, we got right to partying! Their reception involved some of the funniest introductions (I’m looking at you, Sam and Nick!), and some of the sweetest toasts (I’m going to cry again just thinking about it). We even hopped outside at sunset to capture some more romantic bride and groom portraits, which was SO worth it!
Here are some of my favorite images from this beautiful autumn wedding at the Portsmouth Country club…
At their spring ceremony, Bri and Patrick literally “tied the knot” by including a unity ceremony with a rope! I was so happy that they brought the rope to their wedding 2.0 for me to use in their detail shots. So sentimental!
Their first champagne pop was unsuccessful, but the second one was far more explosive than they anticipated!
These two just have so much fun together, it makes my heart swell!
One of my favorite bride and groom portraits from their day 🙂
All of their reception tables were labeled with mountains instead of numbers! I loved this special touch because it was so true to them, as they’re almost done hiking all of the forty eight 4,000 footers!!
Always sneak outside during your reception for some glowy sunset portraits! Trust me, it’s worth it…
Bri and Patrick, thank you again from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to capture not one, but two of your weddings. It has been such a joy getting to photograph your tangible love for one another, and I already can’t wait for your anniversary session next May!
