Julia and Hannah’s Manchester by the Sea Wedding at their grandmother’s beautiful mansion on the ocean was an absolute dream! Their wedding day perfectly reflected Julia and Hannah’s love for one another and their wedding day vision. The brides readied at separate residences with their family and friends.

To celebrate this exciting day, Julia had her nails done with a “H” on her ring finger for “Hannah”. While Hannah had “Bean” and “Banana” (their pet names for each other!) embroidered on her Chacos. They included other sentimental details as well, my favorite being the adorable cat figurines that decorated their wedding cake since they couldn’t attend!

The stunning private residence where the couple married, was just a short walk to the beach from the house, and what better place to share a first look than the beach? It was a touching moment as the pair saw each other for the first time, embracing each other as they did so. We also took photos at “The Studio” which was an old building on top of the cliffs with blue doors and a ton of character!

After the first look, the girls reset for the ceremony which took place outside. Guests enjoyed the ocean views just beyond the treeline as Julia and Hannah exchanged vows. Their wedding bouquets were a favorite detail of mine. They each carried a bouquet made up of different flowers and colors, Julia carrying a more vibrant, summer bouquet, and Hannah an elegant arrangement of light blue and purple hued flowers. The result was beautiful when combined, as Hannah’s chosen flowers mixed with the yellow sunflowers and white and pink flowers from Julia.

Once the couple said “I do”, everyone headed to the tented reception to celebrate the newlyweds. They prepared a super cute and silly choreographed first dance! Then, for the father-daughter dances, they did them simultaneously, switching with each other halfway through so they each shared a dance with both dads. It was so sweet and touching!

To end their dreamy wedding day, we captured sunset portraits on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The cotton candy sky provided a picture-perfect backdrop.
