Dreamy Wedding at Granite Rose

I recently had the joy of capturing Nahal and Dominic’s dreamy wedding at one of my favorite New Hampshire venues – Granite Rose by Wedgewood Weddings. Their joyful wedding was a celebration of love, tradition, and sweet moments.

The day began with Nahal getting ready in the comfort of their home, followed by both of them heading to the venue to put on their wedding attire. Nahal and Dominic chose a romantic, soft color palette for their wedding that included a deep burgundy, light pinks, and cream. The bridesmaids wore floor-length, burgundy dresses, which were complemented by their bouquets by Ling’s Moments featuring a stunning arrangement of red, blush pink, and cream colored flowers. Their chosen colors combined with the elegance of the venue, set the stage for a day filled with love and beauty.

The couple shared a sweet and intimate first look in the back of the venue. Dominic was so sweet and kept kissing Nahal’s hand throughout the day. Seeing the love pass between these two was so heartwarming!

Their outdoor wedding ceremony included Persian wedding traditions, reflecting Nahal’s heritage. A small “sofreh aghd” at the ceremony was one of those traditions. This table, adorned with symbolic items, is a feature of Persian weddings, believed to bring luck to the couple. One of the touching traditions included the couple feeding each other yogurt and honey during the ceremony. They also had one of Dominic’s lifelong friends marry them, which added an extra layer of significance to their ceremony.

Later in the evening at the reception, instead of the traditional wedding cake, they opted to cut a cupcake, from Queen City Cupca k es. Nahal and Dominic also chose a live band, Honey Train Band, to play at their wedding reception. Not only was this band amazing, but it was very fitting as Dominic is a drummer himself. The live music created a wonderful atmosphere and it wasn’t long before everyone was out on the dance floor celebrating the newlyweds!
