Granite Rose Spring Wedding

I recently had the pleasure of capturing Haley + Glenn’s truly special Wedgewood Granite Rose spring wedding day. This is a day I have been looking forward to for a while! Haley and Glenn are the absolute sweetest, and I knew that their day was going to be as much fun as they are.

The day was filled with so many heartfelt moments that I had the honor of documenting. Haley and her amazing crew got ready at the Atkinson Country Club bridal suite. They wore matching robes and shared a special toast before we headed over to the Wedgewood Granite Rose for Haley to put on her gorgeous dress. Haley had her grandmother’s purple flower hankie as her “something old”. Glenn also gifted her a beautiful diamond necklace before their ceremony, which was a sweet surprise for Haley. She put on her new necklace and other finishing touches before capturing a few group shots with her bridesmaids outside.

Haley’s bridesmaids wore long, beautiful sage green dresses and carried an arrangement of white and dusty pink roses accented by vibrant greenery. It was the perfect spring wedding bouquet! Meanwhile, the groom and groomsmen got ready, wearing gray suits and fun, Star Wars themed socks. Haley and Glenn love Star Wars, and as you’ll see, they included a few more fun star wars moments to their wedding day!

Their outdoor ceremony included an emotional exchange of vows and a sand art ritual, where they each poured a different color sand into one contained to represent their unity. The joyous ceremony ended as the couple sealed their love with a kiss. Afterwards we captured all their family and wedding party photos followed by couples portraits of the newlyweds outdoors!

We then moved indoors into the ballroom at Granite Rose by Wedgewood. We incorporated a few Star Wars themed photos requested by Glenn! First Haley used “the force” to lift the groomsmen, which we also recreated later with just Haley and Glenn at sunset to complete their Star Wars photo dreams! Haley and Glenn’s entrance included a special handshake and a pretend lightsaber fight! It was a huge hit, especially with the sparklers in the background!

Sunset Wedding Portraits

After watching the couple share a few special dances and enjoying a delicious meal, the newlyweds and I snuck back outside for sunset portraits. We were greeted with a truly breathtaking sunset that made for the perfect backdrop! The couple then headed back indoors to celebrate and dance the night away with their family and friends!
