Elegant Winter Wedding

My 2023 wedding season has officially started! It was an honor to kick off my first wedding of the year with Julia and Bryce’s elegant winter wedding at The Barn on the Pemi located in Plymouth, NH. This stunning venue features breathtaking mountain views from the hilltop where it sits. The rustic and elegant barn was the perfect spot for Julia and Bryce’s wedding ceremony and reception!

To begin their wedding day, Julia readied at the Common Man with her sisters and mother, who made up her bridal party. They all wore matching PJs as they got ready! Julia and Bryce also exchanged handwritten letters that they read as they got ready. Julia read her letter from Bryce while still in her robe. After reading the heartfelt letter from her future husband she got into her wedding dress with the help of her mom and then shared a first look with her dad! Julia’s dad wore a tie that had a childhood picture on the back of the two of them from her first communion.

First Look Moments

After her first look with her dad, Julia headed over to The Barn on the Pemi for her first look with Bryce, who was getting ready at the Cabin in the Woods onsite. Bryce wore a custom watch from his bride as well as custom socks that featured their adorable dog’s face! I love how couples find fun ways to include their fur-babies into their wedding day!

Their first look took place outside of the beautiful barn with the breathtaking mountain views in the background. Bryce was so excited to see Julia, he scooped her up into his arms the moment he saw her. It was such a sweet and romantic moment. We captured their wedding portraits following their first look. The blanket of snow covering the ground and the mountains off in the distance provided a beautiful, wintery backdrop. We even went into the greenhouse onsite for some portraits!

Julia and Bryce’s wedding ceremony took place inside the barn. The officiant who married them was actually Bryce’s best friend since kindergarten! After vows were exchanged and they kissed for the first time, they made their way back down the aisle. Halfway down the aisle, Bryce dipped his new bride as they kissed wowing all the guests!

After the wedding toasts and first dances, there was a surprise guest appearance from “Spider-Man” who brought in a special birthday cake for Julia’s nephew Connor! Connor is a huge fan of Spider-Man; however, he seemed a little confused and scared seeing him in person, ha! I don’t think he knew what to make of Spider-Man at his aunt’s wedding! It was a fun and sweet gesture by Julia and Bryce and I am sure his night was made.

Wedding guests partied and celebrated the night away alongside the newlyweds! Before the night ended, Julia and Bryce shared a smoke together with their custom engraved lighters!
