Elegant NH Winter Wedding | Southern NH Wedding Photographer

The Barn on the Pemi in Plymouth NH is one of my favorite venues! I was thrilled to return to this gorgeous spot to capture Amber and Dan’s elegant NH winter wedding. Both readied on site in separate areas. Amber’s ADORABLE dog, Favre, was there by her side the entire morning as she got ready. Even later in the day at the wedding ceremony, Favre was nearby in the arms of Amber’s sister & Maid of Honor, while Amber and Dan exchanged vows. He was the star of the show!

Amber included her favorite Prada perfume, “Amber”, like her own name, in her details. Amber and her sister recalled that they both have worn this perfume for as long as they can remember, even though it reminded their friends of a grandmother, ha! After Amber put on her gorgeous, strapless gown with the help of her mom, and descended down the stairs to share a first look with her grandmother! It was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed. The look of pure joy on her grandmother’s face was so heartwarming! I am incredibly happy both Amber and her grandmother will have images from this perfect moment to treasure.

Amber and Dan’s ceremony was beautiful! Both Amber’s mom and dad walked her down the aisle. I loved listening to their heartfelt vows, which were both touching and humourous at the same time. Everyone in attendance laughed as much as they cried. There is no doubt that these two are perfectly matched. The love, connection, and energy was visible to everyone and evident in their wedding photos.

The newlyweds and the wedding party braved the cold as we all headed outside after the wedding ceremony to capture their stunning portraits. With snow blanketing the ground and the mountains in the distance, The Barn on the Pemi provided a gorgeous backdrop.

Back inside the barn the celebration continued. The couple gave maple syrup favors to each guest! To kick off the night, Amber and Dan took over the dance floor for their first dance. After dinner, the couple cut their cake and shared dances with their parents, followed by Amber and her father who planned a fun and lively dance called the “Johnny Rico”! Afterwards, the guests joined the fun out on the dance floor! Their reception was genuinely one of the liveliest parties I’ve seen in a while!! Everyone was on the dance floor the whole time dancing their hearts out. It was such a fun night!
