Amidst the historic charm of Josiah’s Meetinghouse in Epping, NH, Mackenzie and Brandon’s intimate fall wedding day unfolded. This beautiful wedding venue features open fields and rolling hills. Mackenzie readied in the bridal suite on site. I loved capturing the tender moment between Mackenzie and her Nana as she helped Mackenzie into her wedding dress. The bride told me how special her Nana was to her. Sharing this special moment together added an extra layer of sweetness to the day. Mackenzie’s wedding gown, with its intricate lace and bead detailing, exuded timeless elegance. She especially wanted a shot of her wedding dress with her gi top to commemorate her love of jiu jitsu. Her romantic bouquet, adorned with red and pink roses and other delicate blooms, added the perfect touch to her elegant ensemble.
After getting ready, the couple prepared to walk down the aisle and say “I do!” Their ceremony was moved indoors due to the rain, but that didn’t stop it from being magical. Twinkling lights hung from the wooden beams of the rustic barn. Joy rippled through the ceremony as the couple exchanged their vows and became husband and wife!
Intimate Fall Wedding at Josiah’s Meetinghouse
Upon exiting the ceremony, the newlyweds and I headed outside to capture their wedding portraits. Even though it was raining we made the best of it! Armed with clear umbrellas we explored the property and took advantage of the golden leaves in the background. I know rain on your wedding day is something a couple never wants, but they totally rocked it and I LOVE their portraits!
Their wedding reception was so much fun! To get the party started, they had their bridal party compete for the best grand entrance. They entered the reception in pairs, and the winning couple was chosen by applause! The newlyweds then shared their first dance together. They finished their dance with a little jiu jitsu moment, which is a shared passion for both of them, adding a unique and personal touch to the wedding!
Their wedding cake also featured an adorable Lion King cake topper, a personal and heartwarming detail. The evening continued into the night with dancing and celebration. Witnessing Mackenzie and Brandon’s intimate wedding day was such a joy. Their love for each other was evident in every glance and touch.
Mackenzie and Brandon, it was an absolute honor to capture your beautiful wedding day moments. I wish you a lifetime of happiness as you embark on this new chapter in life together!
