Who doesn’t love a stunning mountain view wedding? Jessica & Jonathan’s gorgeous Indian Head Resort wedding was a night to remember! The wedding venue is nestled in the White Mountains of Lincoln, New Hampshire, surrounded by scenic views. Before heading to the resort, the couple got ready for their big day in separate Airbnbs. The flatlays and detail shots from their wedding day are some of my favorites! Their wedding invitation featured a vibrant picture of a lake giving way to white mountains, which was meant to depict their actual wedding ceremony location! The bold blue colors mixed with light green really popped next to their wedding rings!
Jessica tied a piece of her mom’s wedding dress around her beautiful spring-inspired blue wedding bouquet that she made herself! I was so impressed by her bouquet, Jessica did an amazing job! She also sewed a piece of her mom’s dress at the end of her veil too!
Jessica looked absolutely radiant! Her bridesmaids agreed, as they were brought to tears upon seeing her for the first time! Jessica also had a first look with her dad, which was equally as emotional!
Jon got ready with their sweet dog, Winnie, just down the street. Since Winnie wasn’t able to go to the resort for Jessica and Jon’s ceremony and reception, they honored her with a signature cocktail at their reception! As a fellow dog lover, I love when couples include their fur baby on their special day!
Wedding Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was a dream! Guests sat outdoors facing calming waters with stunning mountains in the background. It was truly a breathtaking location! The icing on the cake was seeing Jessica walk down the aisle to Jon, who cried when he saw her for the first time walking towards him! It was such a heartwarming moment. Once the couple said “I Do!” and were announced husband and wife, the newlyweds walked down the aisle together as guests showered them with a bag of dried flower petals. Jessica saved the petals from all the bouquets Jon had given her over the past two years and dried them out to make a sentimental and biodegradable confetti! I love this! It is such a unique, creative idea!
Wedding Reception
After their idyllic ceremony, I stole the bride and groom away for their couple portraits in that golden sun! I made sure to capture the amazing mountain views in the background too! After exploring the scenic Indian Head Resort, we headed back to celebrate the newlyweds at their reception! I loved their wedding cake by Ooo La La Creative Cakes, which resembled a tree with their initials carved into it. There was also a little dog figurine on the cake that looked like Winnie!
Every detail of their wedding was so thoughtfully planned out and executed! It was a wonderful wedding day for a wonderful couple!
Jess + Jon, Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your BEAUTIFUL wedding day! I wish you both so much love and happiness! Congratulations!
