As a Southern New Hampshire wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing some of the most beautiful love stories in stunning venues all throughout the New England area. My most recent wedding was a magical celebration at Butternut Farm Golf Club in Stow, MA. From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the breathtaking surroundings and the joy that filled the air. Casey and TJ’s elegant spring wedding was filled with so many special moments. As I captured photos of the happy couple, their friends and family, and the gorgeous scenery, I couldn’t help but feel honored to be a part of such a special day.
As Casey got ready, she wore cheetah print pajamas instead of the classic white bridal ones, which I LOVED! They were so fun and looked great with her bridesmaids matching black pjs! TJ gifted Casey pearl earrings from Tiffany to wear for their wedding. Casey also had a bouquet charm as a tribute to her grandmother, and a hanky from TJ’s grandmother to wipe her tears throughout the day as well. I love that she had so many unique and sentimental details!
Casey shared a first look with her father before heading outside for a private first look with TJ in a scenic spot on the venue’s property. The water in the background was a beautiful backdrop to this intimate moment. I was thrilled when Casey and TJ shared the exciting news that they are expecting!! I am so over the moon happy for them and was honored to capture this announcement for them on their special day.
Elegant Spring Wedding
Their stunning outdoor ceremony took place behind the clubhouse right before the 9th hole. Casey’s brother did a reading during their ceremony, after which the couple exchanged their vows. Casey started her vows with a little humor stating something to the tune of, “It isn’t easy being the best thing that ever happened to you, but it’s a burden I’m willing to bear.” HA! Everyone got a laugh out of that, including myself! They also did a ring warming ceremony, where they passed their wedding rings around to guests who “warmed” them with well wishes.
Their reception took place in the gorgeous ballroom at Butternut Farm Golf Club. One of my favorite details were the cocktail drink stirrers that featured a picture of their dog, Bentley! It was such a sweet and personalized detail! During their wedding toasts, TJ’s best man brought everyone to tears with his heartfelt words. Casey’s Maid of Honor mentioned the couple’s favorite TV show The Office in her toast, quoting Pam Beasley who said, “When you’re a kid, you assume your parents are soulmates. My kids are gonna be right about that.” It was a beautiful quote that speaks volumes about Casey and TJ and their love for each other. Also, you can never go wrong quoting The Office!
Casey and TJ, it was an absolute joy to capture your wedding day! I am so happy and excited for you both as you embark on this new chapter in life. Not only are both perfectly matched, but you are going to make the best parents! Congratulations!!
