Morgan and Anthony’s autumn wedding at Lake Bomoseen Lodge in Bomoseen, Vermont was the epitome of a dreamy fall wedding. Between the venue’s stunning lake views, the vibrant beauty of Vermont’s autumn colors, and all the heartfelt moments, it was a day to remember! One of the memorable moments occurred early on, when Anthony gifted Morgan a stunning sapphire ring—it was both her something new and something blue! Morgan also had a special hanky that her mom had at her own wedding, making it a truly meaningful something old to complete the tradition.
Morgan shared a fun and energetic first look with her bridesmaids, who gave her all the love and hype she deserved! This was followed by an emotional first look with her dad, where they both exchanged heartfelt gifts and wiped away tears. It was a beautiful father-daughter moment that they’ll both cherish forever. Anthony also shared a first look with his mom, and her reaction to seeing her son on his wedding day was absolutely priceless!
Autumn Wedding in Vermont at Lake Bomoseen Lodge
The ceremony took place on a hilltop overlooking the lake, and the views were breathtaking. The beautiful autumn leaves paired with the couple’s deep burgundy and peach color palette, creating the perfect fall scene. As Morgan walked down the aisle, Anthony was overwhelmed with emotion, shedding tears as he watched his beautiful bride coming down the aisle. Their ceremony was filled with personal touches, including readings from Anthony’s mom and Morgan’s grandmother. Additionally, Morgan and Anthony exchanged sweet personal vows that were both touching and humorous, causing both tears and laughter from their guests. The ceremony concluded with a beautiful white petal toss as they walked back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs.!
We captured beautiful wedding photos of the newlyweds around the property after the ceremony. Then, Morgan and Anthony hopped on a boat for a joyride around Lake Bomoseen. It was such a fun, unique experience for the two of them. I was so happy to watch them unwind with each other after the anticipation they both felt all morning. The boat ride gave them a chance to relax and soak in their first moments as newlyweds, surrounded by the stunning fall landscape and the calm waters of the lake.
Lake Bomoseen Lodge Reception
The reception at Lake Bomoseen Lodge was beautifully decorated, perfectly reflecting the warm, cozy feeling of fall. After their first dance, Morgan and Anthony went straight into their parent dances, and there were toasts from many loved ones, each filled with love and well-wishes for the newlyweds, including a sweet toast from Morgan’s mom. One of the most touching moments came during the mother-daughter dance between Morgan and her mom. They have a relationship as sweet and close as Lorelai and Rory from Gilmore Girls—Morgan’s favorite show! The evening continued with everyone celebrating the happy newlyweds.
