Sam and Steve tied the knot last Saturday with the most beautiful blush and green wedding at the Granite Rose in Hampstead, NH. While the weather channel predicted thunderstorms throughout the entire week before, the skies cleared up just in time for their late afternoon ceremony in the garden. You could feel the anticipation in the air as these two eagerly awaited the moment they could finally get married!
We started off the day at a nearby hotel, where the girls sipped mimosas in their robes while getting their hair and makeup done. I photographed Sam’s details there, including her sparkly white bridal Keds! From there, we traveled over to the Granite Rose for them to put on their final touches. The bridesmaids slipped into their blush colored dresses while Sam pulled on her princess-esque wedding gown, and her mom and sister helped her put on her jewelry and veil. Meanwhile, the guys were living it up in the groom suite down the hall. They put on their final touches, including their matching black and white sneakers and boutonnieres (which they needed a little bit of help pinning on, as all guys do 😂)
Their garden ceremony was the perfect mix of romantic and hilarious, complete with Steve’s friend taking on the role of “Flower Dude”! After the two said “I do” and shared a private moment, we hopped right into family photos. From there, we captured some fun shots of the entire bridal party, which was an absolute riot! Before Sam and Steve had to scurry off to their party, we spent some time taking romantic bride and groom photos in the back garden. I seriously could not stop swooning over these two!
Their reception had touches of a Disney theme around every corner, including Sam and Steve’s first dance song, “I See The Light” from the movie Tangled. The speeches were tear jerking and laughter inducing all in one, and these two lovebirds wrapped up their big day with a full blown party. It was so nice to see everyone on the dance floor again after last year!
