Last Friday, I headed up north to the White Mountains for a styled winter elopement. With everything going on in the world and so many weddings getting postponed, I needed an extra *boost* to get me through off season. Therefore, I planned a styled shoot! Let me tell you, this shoot was exactly what I needed! We had the most INCREDIBLE team of vendors, and it couldn’t have gone more perfectly. When I started planning this shoot, I knew that I wanted it to have a laid-back, adventurous vibe. I envisioned mountains, snow, lots of greenery, and a wicked joyful couple. This styled shoot ended up being that and then some!
We started the day by packing up my car, including a stunning wedding gown by Liza Ray New York, my camera gear, and Finn! I knew that I wanted the couple to have a dog for some of the shoot, and there isn’t a better boy for the job than Finn. He was more than willing to participate, especially with treats involved!
We headed over to 5 Diamond Salon to meet Jaci, who was our very talented hair and makeup artist for the day. Our “bride”, Leah, arrived, and we got started right away! Finn hung out with us in the salon, and together we watched Jaci work her magic. As soon as hair and makeup was done, we headed to meet our florist and pick up her creations.
Adriane from Velvet and Pine went above and beyond for us, giving us SO many options to choose from for the shoot. She even made a floral dog collar and leash for Finn, which I could not stop swooning over! As soon as we picked up her masterpieces, we trekked up to the Lincoln Woods Trailhead in the White Mountain National Forest. Our “bride and groom”, Leah and Kyle, were absolutely adorable in front of my camera. They seriously made my job too easy, and were so brave to stand out in the cold for me!

This was one of my FAVORITE images from the day! I just love the way that the bridge frames them.
This dress was PERFECT for twirling! I think I asked Leah to swish back and forth about a hundred times.
Finn definitely felt like the star of the show!
Sometimes you just need to add some fake snow!
Isn’t Leah’s hair and makeup to die for?? Jaci absolutely blows me away with her talent!
This bouquet is what dreams are made of 🤩
I love intimate detail shots like this one.
Last but not least, some puppy/groom love! ❤️
