There are so many wonderful moments to share from Chelsea and Shawn’s Claremont New Hampshire Wedding at The Common Man Inn! To kick off their wedding day, Chelsea got ready onsite with her brother (the man of honor), two bridesmaids, and her adorable dog, Lucy. They all wore matching flannels that coordinated with the colors of the wedding, dark sage, navy, and white.
Each person in Chelsea’s crew helped her get ready, while her soon to be husband, Shawn, and son, Parker, were busy getting ready in a separate room of The Common Man. After everyone was wedding ready, Chelsea shared a first look with dad and then Parker inside their suite. Afterwards, she went outside for her first look with Shawn under a covered walkway between the buildings. During this intimate moment, the couple shared private vows they wrote, which were both tear-jerking and hilarious!
Claremont New Hampshire Wedding
Chelsea looked stunning in her off shoulder wedding gown. I also loved Shawn’s suit jacket which was navy and sage green plaid. It complemented Chelsea’s dress and classic white rose bouquet perfectly, while also combining the colors from their wedding party. We captured a few portraits under the covered walkway and in front of the wedding venue before the rest of the wedding party joined in. Even Lucy was a part of the photos!
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Common Man. The pair exchanged vows under a beautifully decorated wedding arch. Their wedding officiant, Judy Johnson, was actually Chelsea’s former high school teacher, before she became an officiant! It was so neat to have her there, as I know it meant a lot to Chelsea to have one of her favorite teachers be a part of her special day!
After a lovely ceremony, the newlyweds shared their first dance followed by toasts given by their Best Man and Man of Honor. After a delicious dinner, we snuck back outside to capture a few more portraits on the bridge as the sun was setting.
Back inside after everyone finished dinner, they shared their first dance together as husband and wife. They each shared dances with their parents, which brought tears to many eyes in the audience. Before opening up the dance floor, Chelsea and Shawn played the newlywed shoe game, which had everyone laughing! It was such a fun evening filled with an overflow of laughter and happy tears!
Chelsea and Shawn, I had the best time celebrating your marriage and inspiring love! Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day. I have so much love for the both of you! Congratulations again!
