All weddings bring their own kind of magic. You can feel the love and happiness flowing through the air. The day is filled with emotional highs and sentimental details. Ashley + Rich’s stunning Wolfeboro Inn waterfront wedding was all this and more. Their navy blue and gray wedding colors highlighted the nautical vibe of the wedding that took place next to the stunning Lake Winnipesaukee. The shimmering lake provided a romantic and dreamy backdrop to their wedding day.
The morning of the wedding, Ashley gifted rich engraved cufflinks, which he opened while he got ready! The beautiful bride got ready with her bridesmaids and her mom who helped her into her dress. Ashley wore her mother’s ring for her something borrowed. For the something old, she had a diamond repurposed from her grandmother’s engagement ring, which she turned into a necklace that she wore. For the something blue, she wore shoes that were a lovely shade of blue!
Ashley and Rich put so much thought into their wedding details. Their wedding invitations highlight the lake setting with warm, colorful leaves dotting the river bank where the water’s edge meets the woodline in front of the grand mountains in the background. It was truly a work of art! I love that they incorporated elements of the lake location as well as embraced the fall season in the wedding details.
Wolfeboro Inn Waterfront Wedding Ceremony
Ashley and Rich shared an intimate first look on the grounds of Wolfeboro Inn before taking pictures with their bridal party. Their adorable two dogs, Vince and Willow, were an important part of their wedding day as well. We captured several beautiful wedding photos of the couple with their dogs. The two dogs also stood by their owners’ side up at the altar during their waterfront ceremony!
The couple’s wedding ceremony overlooking the water was breathtaking. Rich’s three grandmothers were the “flower grams”, and showered everyone in petals as they came down the aisle! It was one of my favorite wedding moments. I absolutely love that they chose to honor his grandmothers by including them in the ceremony in such a fun and special way!
The Wedding Reception
After visiting with guests during cocktail hour for a bit, I promptly stole them away for my signature sunset wedding portraits. Their portraits by the lake were GORGEOUS! The sun hit the water’s surface just right creating a shimmering effect. It was utterly breathtaking, and the newlyweds were glowing!
Their reception was held under Wolfeboro Inn’s outdoor sailcloth tent. Orb lights hung from the ceiling and navy blue place settings decorated each table. As lovers of the water, Ashley and Rich identified their tables by different bodies of water that were important to them, rather than using the classic number system. They had a dessert area of donuts, which is always a good choice! Ashley and Rich even had donuts adorned in their own attire, which sat above the cake as a little donut bride & groom! Their entire day was a beautiful reflection of their own unique personalities and relationship together. They had a purpose behind everything and the entire day flowed effortlessly.
Ashley and Rich, your wedding day was a dream from start to finish! I had the best time watching the two of you together and capturing every moment from your special day! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.
