I am so excited that senior season has begun! I’ve had so many senior sessions recently now that the weather is cooperating, and it makes my heart so happy. Most of the seniors I’ve worked with in the past few weeks are from the class of 2019, so they are graduating in June! I have had a wonderful time with each of these seniors, hearing about their plans for college. They all have chosen their majors, found roommates, and started shopping for their dorms.

As excited as they all seem for the next chapter of their lives, they all shared their bittersweet feelings with me about leaving high school. They’re sad to leave their friends and the community they’ve been a part of their whole life. I was able to relate to them so easily, as I was in their shoes only a few years ago. I can clearly remember committing to my school, and coming to the realization that soon everything would be different. Change can be so exciting, but it can also be scary!

I’ve been working hard to edit and deliver their galleries as quickly as possible so that their graduation announcements can be sent out on time. Although I’m not completely finished with all of their photos, I’m excited to share some sneak peeks with you all!
