Hannah and Sam’s romantic wedding at Thompson Inn in Durham, NH was perfect in every way!! From the moment I stepped into the bridal suite, Hannah’s excitement was visible and her energy was infectious, setting the tone for a day filled with love and joy. Hannah was a ray of sunshine and I absolutely loved my time with her!
Hannah and her bridesmaids got ready on site in matching outfits. They wanted to capture a few fun photos of them with champagne and wearing sunglasses. Afterwards the bridesmaids got into their gorgeous dresses, each in a different style and color. Rather than wear a specific color, they each wore a dress in an earthy pink or terracotta shade. The color palette and combination was beautiful. I love the touch of individuality to the bridal party and how the color scheme of the dresses looked incredible and perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic!
After getting ready, Hannah shared first looks with her nearest and dearest, including her bridesmaids, parents, and of course, Sam. Each moment was uniquely sweet and touching, evoking tears of happiness from everyone present. Hannah and Sam’s reaction to seeing each other during their first look was priceless. They also shared a private dance to his parents’ wedding song, which was a sentimental surprise for Sam that Hannah planned.
Romantic Thompson Inn Wedding
Their heartwarming ceremony took place outside under the shade of trees. After exchanging vows and making it official, the newlyweds enjoyed a sweet southern tradition! The couple dug up a bottle of bourbon that their groomsmen buried on on the property the day before. I love that they incorporated this fun southern wedding tradition into their special day.
During the reception, Hannah and Sam cut their cake privately in the wine cellar. This intimate gesture allowed them to share a special moment away from the crowd. It was truly special, and I love that they planned this private moment to share together during the busyness of the reception.
Later during the reception, I snuck the newlyweds back outside for the most stunning and epic golden hour portraits! The sunset was to die for! The warm, golden light painted the scene with a magical glow, resulting in beautiful wedding photos that will undoubtedly be cherished for generations to come.
Hannah and Sam, your romantic summer wedding was a dream from beginning to end. It was an honor to document these beautiful wedding memories and be a part of your special day. You both are amazing and I enjoyed each minute I spent with you. I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers!
