Jess and Stetson’s big day at Owl’s Nest Resort was truly beautiful! A winter wedding in the White Mountains, with fresh snow and an amazing couple, made for a wonderful celebration. Every aspect of the day, from the carefully handpicked details to the custom newspapers and tablescapes, was picture perfect. They exchanged vows in the Lakehouse at Owl’s Nest, surrounded by family and loved ones from all over!
The magical day began when we arrived at Jess’s gambrel, where she and her girls were getting ready, while Stetson and his boys did the same next door. The bride and her girls wore adorable matching PJ’s and had a custom “Newlywed Times” featuring Jess and Stetson throughout. Not to be outdone, the boys looked sharp, with cigars in hand. Stetson’s details included cufflinks that once belonged to his grandfather.
After Jess slipped into her dress, she shared a first look with all of her girls. She followed that with another first look with just her brothers, which was equally heartwarming! Her dress, covered in sequins, featured detachable sleeves, which she removed later to party!
MAGICAL WINTER WEDDING AT OWL’S NEST
The couple’s friend Clark officiated the ceremony upstairs in the Lakehouse. Jess and her father shared a brief first look with each other before he walked her down the aisle, and Stetson shed a few tears as he watched his bride approach. Clark shared touching testaments of their relationship that left no one dry-eyed. After sealing their vows with a kiss, the newlyweds walked down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Hays.
The celebration continued downstairs at the Lakehouse, where Dan Sky took the mic, setting the tone for an unforgettable night! Jess and Stetson wowed guests with a choreographed line dance following their first dance. After dinner, Jess’s dad gave her her grandfather’s dog tags before their dance. The celebration continued well into the night, and we were lucky enough to step outside for portraits while the snow fell!
