Jess and Jamin’s August wedding at Owl’s Nest Resort in Thornton, New Hampshire, was the perfect summer celebration! Their day included a sweet first look and private letter exchange on the golf course, followed by a picture-perfect ceremony on the Lakehouse deck. From their choreographed first dance to all the laughter and love throughout the day, Jess and Jamin’s wedding was filled with unforgettable moments and endless memories!
Getting Ready At The Gambrel
When we arrived at Owl’s Nest, we met up with Jess and her bridesmaids as they got ready for the day in their gambrel. Dressed in all-white PJs, Jess spent the morning popping champagne and sharing plenty of laughs with her girls. Her childhood stuffy, Dolly, even made a special appearance! Nearby, Jamin got ready with help from his brother before adding his final touches. Once ready, Jess shared a first look with her bridesmaids, before we took golf carts out onto the course for their first look! Jamin had the sweetest reaction when he turned around and saw his bride! The two then exchanged letters and read them privately before taking a quiet moment together. We captured portraits on the course before heading back to the Lakehouse for family and wedding party photos ahead of the ceremony!
Lakehouse Ceremony
Once it was time for the ceremony, guests made their way to the back deck and found their seats. Jamin’s dad, who had the special honor of officiating, made his way down the aisle first. Jamin followed, with his groomsmen and then bridesmaids entering one by one. Guests then rose to their feet as Jess made her big entrance. Escorted by her dad, the two smiled as they walked down the aisle toward Jamin. Their ceremony was so sweet and filled with plenty of love. Before long, Jess and Jamin were officially pronounced husband and wife! They shared their first kiss beneath the beautiful floral arbor before walking back up the aisle hand in hand. Of course, they stopped for a picture-perfect dip kiss as everyone cheered them on. Afterward, guests headed inside to enjoy cocktail hour!
Lakehouse Reception
Once it was time for the reception, everyone found their seats as toasts were set to begin. Jess’s dad started things off, followed by her Matron of Honor, Meredith, and Jamin’s brother and Best Man, Jared. Before dinner, Jamin shared a sweet thank-you speech and blessed the food.Shortly after, we whisked the newlyweds away for some dreamy golden hour portraits! We hopped on a golf cart and headed out onto the course, where the sunset could not have been more picture-perfect. After dinner, Jess and Jamin took to the dance floor for their perfectly choreographed first dance, complete with lifts and dips. The dance floor opened soon after, where Jess changed into her reception dress and the party continued late into the night, bringing this August wedding at Owl’s Nest Resort to an end!
