Watching couples exchange vows and commit their lives to one another is always a beautiful and overwhelmingly joyful experience. Last weekend I had the honor of capturing Brittany and Matt’s stunning Londonderry Historical Society Fall Wedding. This historical location in Londonderry, NH is a lovely wedding venue that provides a picturesque wedding backdrop. The day of their wedding the forecast was calling for rain. Thankfully, it never drizzled once! Mother Nature truly held out for them and they were blessed with a gorgeous fall day!
Brittany and her bridesmaids got ready at her and Matt’s home. Their adorable dog Chuck was there too! He was so sweet and was there by Brittany’s side the whole morning! The bridesmaids wore beautiful navy dresses that were accented by stunning bouquets filled with eucalyptus and cream, red, and burgundy flowers. Brittany and her two sisters all have matching rings. Naturally we made sure to grab a photo of the three sisters showing off their rings!
Londonderry Historical Society Fall Wedding Ceremony
Once the bride & her bridesmaids were all ready, they took the trolley from the home over to the Londonderry Historical Society for the ceremony! Chuck tagged along as well and stood up at the altar with his favorite humans. However, Chuck ate a little too much grass during the ceremony, causing him to hack it up throughout the ceremony making everyone laugh!
Aside from Chuck’s sound effects, Brittany and Matt’s wedding was beautiful and flawless. Their outdoor wedding ceremony featured a wooden, triangle wedding arch with a rope on one side, which they braided together during their ceremony to symbolize their union to each other & with God (“God’s Knot”). It was such a joyful celebration when these high school sweethearts were officially announced as husband and wife!
I captured their wedding portraits around the beautiful landscaped grounds of the Londonderry Historical Society. The open green field featured rows of apple trees and beautiful fall colors. Chuck snuck into a few more photos too before the newlyweds and I went off to explore more of the property. The rest of the evening was spent at their outdoor tented reception where the couple celebrated their joyful union with their closest family and friends!
Brittany and Matt, I had the best time photographing your gorgeous wedding day! You two are truly meant to be. It was an honor to witness the start of the next chapter in your lives together! I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!
