Last weekend, my wedding season kicked off with Briana and Patrick’s intimate wedding on the New Hampshire seacoast. Due to the global pandemic and everything being shut down, Briana and Patrick had to rethink their entire wedding day. They knew that they still wanted to get married on the date they originally set (#loveisnotcancelled), no matter how many guests would be able to attend. After all, their day was about the two of them and their love for each other!
I’m so happy that they decided to move forward with their intimate wedding instead of cancelling. While it was much different than what they originally planned, it was nothing short of magical. They moved their ceremony to Adam’s Point in Durham, a place with a lot of sentimental value to them. They visited Adam’s Point frequently when they went to UNH together, so it was simply the perfect spot. The day before, they set up a beautiful aisle out of driftwood, and flooded the area with flowers as well. Their ceremony was so sweet it made my heart swell. Surrounded by family and their very closest friends, they tied the knot and toasted champagne.
After the ceremony, we spent an hour exploring area, stopping at every scenic spot for some romantic portraits. They did their first dance in a small field of flowers, and could not stop giggling with excitement.
Here are some of my very favorite images from their intimate wedding…
While at this wedding, I also tried my hand at videography! I surprised Bri and Patrick with a short video from their day, and while I’m still new to the craft, I had a lot of fun with it. Click here to watch the video!
