Hallmark Christmas Wedding at the Mount Washington Hotel

Tracey and Sean tied the knot at the Mount Washington Hotel at the beginning of this month! I had been looking forward to their big day for so many months. Their Hallmark Christmas themed wedding was nothing short of magical! I had been going to the Mount Washington Hotel every year for a ski race fundraiser since I was 8 years old, so when Tracey contacted me last winter about capturing her big day there, I was BEYOND excited. The hotel is beautiful, and it matched the essence of their wedding perfectly. From the beautiful couple to the hotel to the incredible vendor team, the whole day went off without a hitch!

Tracey and Sean’s big day started off with them getting ready with their family and friends. Tracey and her bridesmaids got ready in a beautiful suite, and as one of the bridesmaids said, “the selfie lighting was perfect!”. After taking some detail shots, I captured Tracey getting into her dress and putting on her veil, which was SO long! She said that when she went shopping for her dress, she told them to bring her the longest veil they had in stock! They did NOT disappoint! Tracey and Sean also exchanged letters the morning of their wedding, which I captured them reading as they got ready.

Sean and his guys got ready in a room on the next floor up. When I got to his room, I asked him how he was feeling. He said he didn’t have any nerves, and was just more than ready to marry Tracey! I told him that she was all ready and that she looked beautiful, and he admitted that he would probably cry when he saw her. The boys put on their suits and ties with ease, although they had a bit of trouble with the pocket square. After a lot of debate, they finally settled on “the poof” fold for their hankies.

Tracey and Sean got married in the conservatory, which offered a beautiful view of the mountains behind them. Their ceremony was short but sweet. Everyone who was watching could easily see the love that these two shared, and how excited they were to get married.

The rest of the night was consumed by partying. I have never seen a group of people have more fun in my entire life! Tracey’s sister, Samantha, gave the first toast of the night. She talked about how her and Tracey had watched Hallmark Christmas movies their entire life, and how Tracey dreamed of having a Hallmark Christmas wedding (which she most DEFINITELY achieved!).  Sean’s best man, Chris, gave the second toast. He talked about how Tracey and Sean met at Market Basket, where Tracey soon became Sean’s boss. When he told this story, he remarked how Sean probably didn’t know then that Tracey would remain his boss for the rest of their lives! It truly was SO funny. The couple, their family, and their friends spent the rest of the evening dancing like crazy, and celebrating the new best day of their lives.
