Ashley and Stephanie’s fall wedding at The Glen House in Newry, Maine was one for the books! Their intimate pajama-party wedding felt warm, joyful, and perfectly them from the very first moment. The surrounding foliage was glowing in peak autumn color, with the mountains creating the dreamiest backdrop. Finn and Winnie made the sweetest four-legged wedding party members, adding even more personality to the day. The evening ended with a hibachi chef, sake, and plenty of dancing! Every detail was intentional, cozy, and full of love, the kind of celebration you never want to end!
Newry, Maine

We arrived at The Glen House to sunshine and the best energy. Ashley and Stephanie got ready together in matching bridal sweatsuits with “bride” embroidered across the back. Every guest (including us!) was gifted a custom sweatsuit in green or maroon with “A&S” and their wedding date stitched on the front! When it was time, the brides changed into even comfier outfits for their ceremony, complete with pearls and feathers! After taking family photos and plenty with Finn and Winnie, Ashley and Stephanie took a moment to breathe and relax before guests showed up. Soon after, guests started to arrive, and the ceremony was ready to begin!

The Glen House Wedding Ceremony
As guests found their seats, peak fall foliage exploded behind the ceremony site. It created the dreamiest mountain backdrop. Johnny, Ashley’s brother and Man of Honor, walked down the aisle first. Vicki, the Maid of Honor and Stephanie’s sister, followed after him. Ashley made her entrance next, escorted by her dad, with Finn proudly trotting beside them. Stephanie soon followed, walking down the aisle with her father and meeting her soon-to-be wife at the altar, Finn waiting with them. The ceremony was short, sweet, and completely them. After their marriage was made official, they shared a kiss and walked back up the aisle through a tunnel of bubbles. The celebration continued right away as the group set off color bombs, filling the air with a rainbow cloud. Guests then enjoyed the gorgeous property while we snuck the brides out for golden hour portraits on the golf course!

Once we returned from golden hour portraits on the golf course, it was time for entrances to begin. Ashley and Stephanie walked in with Finn by their side and moved right into their first dance, spinning and kissing with the mountains glowing behind them. Afterward, they invited their dads to the dance floor for a simultaneous father–daughter dance under the beautifully lit backyard sky. Everyone then gathered around the fire pit for toasts, complete with marshmallows! Jenn, Ashley’s best friend, spoke first with heartfelt words. Steph’s dad followed with a loving tribute to his daughter and new daughter-in-law. Next came hibachi and sake, with a live chef performing for the guests. After dinner, the brides cut their cake, and the dance floor opened for the night!

Ashley and Stephanie, thank you for letting us be a part of such a special celebration. We will cherish your day forever!
