Barn on the Pemi Boho Wedding

I am thrilled to share Nikki and Kristian’s Barn on the Pemi Boho Wedding from last week! This rustic wedding venue is a premier wedding venue in New Hampshire. Sitting on a hilltop, the venue features breathtaking views of the mountains. The secluded location and surrounding wilderness provides the perfect mixture of elegance, modernity, and rustic charm. Nikki and Kristian’s wedding details complemented the rustic elements of the venue while mixing in their own boho vibe.

Their wedding day started off with the girls getting ready at The Cabin in the Woods on site. Nikki and her bridesmaids all wore matching flannel pjs, including Nikki + Kristian’s adorable daughter, Sterling! The bridesmaids dresses wore a lovely combination of cinnamon, copper, and cream colors. The neutral bohemian colors were highlighted with beautiful flower bouquets that were made up of white flowers and tan accents.

Nikki’s mom helped her into her dress before she made her grand entrance down the set of stairs to surprise her bridesmaids! Nikki then shared a first look with her father out on the cabin’s deck. After an emotional embrace, she gave him a handwritten note and a Father-of-the-Bride engraved beer stein.

Meanwhile, the Groom and his groomsmen were getting ready at a separate location. Kristian wore his late grandfather’s watch, which holds special meaning to him. Before the wedding ceremony began, we captured the groom and groomsmen together and grabbed some separate photos of the bride and bridesmaids together in front of the beautiful greenhouse on the property. There I took some of my favorite photos from the day! The bride and bridesmaids all wore matching wide brimmed hats that looked amazing! Nikki and Kristian did a fantastic job bringing the boho vibe into various elements of their day and the result was stunning!

The wedding ceremony took place on the patio overlooking the mountains and the trees that were just beginning to change colors. Nikki and Kristian’s daughter Sterling was carried down the aisle holding a sign that read “Daddy, here comes Mommy”. It was so sweet! After their beautiful mountain view wedding ceremony, I snagged a bunch of the bridal party together in front of the greenhouse and then dismissed the rest of the party so that I could focus on the newlyweds!

The grounds at Barn on the Pemi are gorgeous! We had the best time exploring the property, taking in the beautiful scenery, and capturing stunning portraits of Kristian and Nikki!

The Wedding Reception

Their reception took place inside the venue’s wonderful barn. There were so many personal details sprinkled throughout the reception, one being their signature drink menu! There were five drinks listed on the menu, four of which featured a clever name in honor of one of their animals, and one in honor of their daughter, Sterling’s Sodas! In addition, the table centerpieces were different beer growlers that the couple had collected from various breweries and filled with dried florals. To tie it all together, their seating/table chart coordinated with the words on the growlers as opposed to traditional table numbers! It was so cool!

After a delicious dinner I snuck the couple away for a few night shots in the greenhouse! The greenhouse was magical all lit up with twinkling lights under the night sky! It was the perfect ending to their perfect wedding day!
