Samantha and Brian’s Waterville Valley Resort wedding was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains, their wedding took place at the breathtaking summit of Waterville Valley where they exchanged vows surrounded by mountain peaks and crisp autumn air. Their wedding was filled with meaningful details, breathtaking views, and a whole lot of love from family and friends who didn’t let the twenty-degree weather stand in the way of celebrating this amazing couple!
One of the sweetest details of the day was the red kazoos. Samantha and Brian blew these red kazoos at their courthouse ceremony that took place prior to their big day. It was so fun and heartwarming to see them tie that memory into their mountaintop wedding day! Samantha also incorporated family heirlooms into her bridal look, wearing her grandmother’s earrings and her great-grandmother’s ring.
Mountain Top Ceremony
The wedding colors—a stunning combination of dark forest green, lighter greens, and a pop of pink and yellow—perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the surroundings. The ceremony at the summit was an experience in itself. Guests rode the chairlift up and wrapped themselves in cozy blankets as they watched Samantha and Brian exchange vows. Their guests’ willingness to brave the cold truly showed how much love and support surrounded Samantha and Brian on their big day.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the picturesque surroundings for a few newlywed portraits. Despite the chilly temperatures, Samantha and Brian embraced the moment, and the resulting photos were beautiful. These two were just so sweet together- always laughing and smiling – and truly just enjoying the moment together! Afterwards, we escaped the cold and headed back down on the chairlift for their cocktail hour and reception at the Freestyle Lounge at the base of Waterville Valley Resort.

Inside the ski lodge, the tables featured Samantha’s handiwork, as she had hand-embroidered all of the table settings; it was very impressive! The reception was filled with laughter, happy tears, and heartfelt toasts, as family and friends shared funny stories and tender memories about the couple. It was clear how loved Samantha and Brian are, and capturing these moments was such an honor.
The night continued with an epic dance floor that was poppin’ all night long! Guests passed around funny glasses for photos that everyone enjoyed. Samantha and Brian’s guests were truly there to celebrate, and the laughter and dancing didn’t stop all night.
Samantha and Brian, I’m so grateful for the opportunity to capture your Waterville Valley Resort wedding. I wish you both all the love and happiness!
