Brianah and Davin’s Owl’s Nest Resort wedding was straight out of a dream! Rain in the forecast lifted during their first look, leaving behind misty mountain views that set the perfect backdrop for their private vows. The skies held off long enough for a stunning outdoor ceremony, and the vibes all day were nothing short of amazing!
We arrived at Brianah’s gambrel, where she and her bridesmaids prepped for the big day. The girls wore matching powder blue pajamas, while the bride stood out in all white! The bridal details included her grandmothers charm for her bouquet, which also acted as her “something blue”! Just a few doors down, Davin got ready with his groomsmen and family by his side. Next, Bri’s mom helped her into her dress, and she put on her final touches before her first look with Davin. We headed to the Sunset Pavilion for the big reveal, where the couple shared a private moment and exchanged sweet words with each other. From there, we made our way to The Lakehouse where Bri shared a first look with her dad before joining everyone for wedding party and family photos. These joyful moments set the perfect tone for the ceremony!
Owl’s Nest Resort Wedding
With the weather on our side, the ceremony took place outdoors on the deck, where the sun peeked through for a few magical minutes. Cheers erupted as the wedding party walked down the aisle, with Davin leading the joyful energy. Then, Bri entered with her dad, and Davin’s face lit up as they approached the altar. The officiant shared sweet stories of how the couple met and how far their love has come. Bri and Davin exchanged vows, sealed their promises with a kiss, and walked back up the aisle as newlyweds. After the ceremony, they enjoyed the full cocktail hour, laughing and catching up with their closest family and friends before the reception!
After cocktail hour, guests found their seats, waiting with excitement for the wedding party entrances. The entrances were unforgettable—dancing, money guns, a tiny car, and even drinking from a shoe! This energy set the tone for an incredible night. Bri and Davin then shared their first dance, surrounded by cheering family and friends. Next, the toasts began. Bri’s dad kicked things off with a warm speech full of proud moments. Then, Bri’s sister Hannah shared sweet words and anecdotes from their childhood. Finally, Davin’s best man, Sam, had the entire room laughing as he toasted the newlyweds. After dinner, we stepped outside for golden hour portraits of the couple. Once back inside, Bri and Davin cut their cake and moved into parent dances. Bri shared a special dance with her dad, followed by Davin and his mom. Soon after, the dance floor opened and the party came alive!
