Ashleigh and Hunter’s Merrimack Valley Train Station wedding was a perfect September day! It’s not every day that we get to photograph a wedding and be a part of it as guests, but we had the honor of doing so for Ashleigh and Hunter as they are some of our closest friends. From start to finish, their day was filled with laughter, sweet moments, and so much love. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they celebrated this exciting new chapter together. Even Ashleigh’s cat, Remi, made an appearance, making the day feel even more personal and special!

Getting Ready
The day began with Ashleigh and her girls at the salon, where they spent the morning getting their hair and makeup done. Meanwhile, Hunter and the guys got ready at his dad’s house. Once hair and makeup was complete, Ashleigh headed home to get dressed with the help of her mom and Maid of Honor, Katie. Of course, Remi was there to supervise! Once Ashleigh was ready, she shared a sweet first look with her bridesmaids in the backyard. Meanwhile, Hunter’s dad helped him with his finishing touches before he spent some time with his groomsmen. With everyone ready to go, we made our way to the venue for Ashleigh and Hunter’s first look. They met on the train tracks, where they shared a sweet moment together and took everything in. We followed their first look with portraits of the two of them before bringing in the wedding party and family for photos. With portraits complete, it was almost time for the ceremony!

Ceremony in Tilton
Once it was time for the ceremony, family and friends found their seats as Ashleigh and Hunter prepared to make things official. Hunter’s brother, Devon, officiated the ceremony, making the moment even more meaningful. Each bridesmaid carried a flower down the aisle, and placed it in a vase in the first row of chairs to tribue Hunter’s late mother. Ashleigh was escorted down the aisle by her mom and dad, smiling the entire way. During the ceremony, Ashleigh’s dad shared a heartfelt speech from her grandmother, who was unable to travel from Australia for the wedding. It was such a sweet way to include her in the celebration, even though she couldn’t be there in person! Before long, Ashleigh and Hunter were pronounced husband and wife and sealed it with a kiss! The newlyweds skipped back up the aisle hand in hand, officially beginning their next chapter together. After the ceremony, guests made their way to cocktail hour while the celebration continued!

Train Station Reception
Once it was time for the reception, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were introduced before Ashleigh and Hunter made their big entrance. They walked into a room full of cheers and stepped right into their first dance as husband and wife. Once seated, Ashleigh’s dad kicked off the speeches, followed by Hunter’s dad and a thank you from the newlyweds. Before dinner, we snuck outside for some dreamy golden hour portraits by the trains and around the venue. Back inside, Hunter shared a sweet dance with his grandmother. Ashleigh and her dad then took the floor for the Nutbush, an Australian dance, before the DJ invited all the Aussies to join them! Ashleigh and Hunter enjoyed some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream before joining their guests and partying the night away. It was the perfect ending to such a fun, love-filled day!
