Laura and Paul’s winter wedding at Avenir in Walpole, MA was a DREAM! Their wedding day radiated with joy from beginning to end. I always say, I love happy tears and those moments filled with tilt-your-head-back laughter. Laura and Paul totally delivered on these two items! Happy tears and contagious laughter were in abundance.
Laura & Paul’s Winter Wedding
Their incredible wedding day started as they each got ready in separate hotel rooms in Walpole. After hair and makeup finished, Laura’s mom helped her get into her wedding dress before her heartwarming first look with her dad. I know capturing this special moment was important to Laura, and it was one of my favorite moments of the day! Laura mentioned that seeing her dad’s reaction was something that she wants to remember forever. I love that pictures provide this ability to transport us back in time to an exact moment or season of life, and that I am able to give my clients these timeless, treasured memories.
After Laura’s first look with her dad, we drove to the wedding venue, Avenir, to capture the first look between Laura and Paul. Once they shared a sweet, private moment, we took some bride & groom photos in front of the venue. The rain held off for us so that we could capture a few gems of them together wrapped in Laura’s gorgeous veil!
Avenir Wedding Ceremony + Reception
Before the ceremony, Laura and Paul had a private vow exchange where even more happy tears were shed. It was such an intimate moment for the two of them and I love that they chose to carve out time for this special moment. After their lovely ceremony and stomping of the glass, we headed inside the Avenir’s stunning ballroom, where the evening continued as the bride and groom danced and celebrated with their closest family and friends.
I loved watching Laura and Paul interact. They are such a fun-loving and genuine couple. Their energy and spirit were such a joy to capture and I truly feel lucky to have been a part of their day. Their wedding day was a beautiful reminder of why I love my job so much! Congratulations, Laura and Paul!
