Jenn and Scott’s beautiful Gunstock wedding in Gilford, New Hampshire was the perfect celebration! With the kind of weather you dream about on a wedding day, these two celebrated surrounded by incredible mountain views and their closest family and friends. They shared a first look at the top of the mountain overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding scenery. Later, they exchanged vows during a beautiful ceremony beside the pond at the base of the mountain. Their dog, Dexter, even joined us throughout the day, making the celebration that much sweeter!
Getting Ready In The Lodge
As we arrived at Gunstock Mountain to good vibes and sunshine, we headed into the lodge where Jenn and her bridesmaids were getting ready for the day. Downstairs, Scott and his groomsmen put the finishing touches on their looks. Jenn stepped into her dress with help from her mom and her niece, while Scott’s brother helped him with his final touches. Once everyone was ready, we escorted Scott to the chairlift and headed to the top of the mountain to wait for his bride. Jenn soon joined him, and the two shared a sweet first look overlooking the lake. After soaking in the moment together, they exchanged private vows before we captured a few portraits at the summit. We then headed back down the mountain for wedding party and family photos as guests began arriving for the ceremony!
Ceremony By The Pond
Once it was time for the ceremony, guests found their seats overlooking the pond at the base of the mountain. Scott made his way down the aisle first alongside his loyal dog, Dexter, who was dressed for the occasion! The groomsmen followed one by one, with the bridesmaids shortly after. Next came Jenn and Scott’s niece and nephews who walked down with bubble guns, setting the scene for the bride. Escorted by her dad, Jenn made her way toward the altar as both Scott and Dexter lit up at the sight of her. Their ceremony was sweet and filled with so much love. When it was time to exchange rings, Scott grabbed them from Dexter, who played his part perfectly! Jenn and Scott were soon pronounced husband and wife and sealed it with a kiss. They made their way back up the aisle before both stopping to give Dexter a kiss of his own. Guests then headed into the lodge for cocktail hour while the celebration continued!
Lodge Reception
Once it was time for the reception, everyone found their seats as introductions were set to begin. The parents entered first, followed by the wedding party before it was time for Jenn and Scott’s big entrance. They walked in hand in hand to a sea of cheers and stepped right into their choreographed first dance. Complete with lifts and dips, these two absolutely killed it! After their dance, Jenn’s dad welcomed everyone and shared some sweet words for the newlyweds. As dinner came to an end, we snuck Jenn, Scott, and Dexter outside for dreamy golden hour portraits. Once back inside, the couple cut their Cabot ice cream cake before sharing dances with their parents. Scott and his mom went first, followed by Jenn and her dad. Just when everyone thought their dance was ending, they broke into a choreographed routine to “Bye Bye Bye” by NSYNC, which quickly became a highlight of the night! The dance floor then opened with a group photo, and the party was on!
